Unique Guest Book Ideas

The guest book at your wedding is a great way to give friends and family the opportunity to commemorate the big day. If you've ever been to a wedding, though, you understand that coming up with a thoughtful and unique signature isn't always easy. Instead of using a traditional guest book, try one of these ideas to add a special flair to yours.

Rather than using one central volume, include small cards at each guest's seat during the reception. Provide a pen and some paper and pose simple questions on the card, such as "Where do you see us in 10 years?"

You can also simply keep a small bowl next to a pile of cards. Your guests will be able to write their own little notes and well-wishes at their leisure, which will prevent a line of folks waiting to include their own entry.

A typewriter with a lengthy piece of paper is a very unique idea that people will be sure to talk about. You can find attractive vintage typewriters fairly inexpensively. When the wedding is over, tie the scroll together with a ribbon.
